Janine Siben, aka “Rainbow The Clown” was born in Santa Barbara in 1968 and raised in Santa Barbara’s San Roque neighborhood. After graduating from Bishop Garcia Diego High School in 1986, Janine went on to receive her degree in Liberal Arts and Early Childhood Education at Santa Barbara City College.

Janine has been serving Santa Barbara as “Rainbow the Clown” since the early 90′s.
Janine loves to dress up in costumes that she’s created herself and entertain children with her repertoire of activities including magic, puppets, balloon twisting, facepainting, playing music and singing songs.

In her mid-20′s, Janine performed as a clown in her neighborhood for the children on the block and then began doing birthday parties. Janine was then hired as the “Burger King” clown at the local Burger King on State Street (which is now Chick Filet) where she acquired the name “Rainbow” because she was colorful like a rainbow! This was the beginning of “Rainbow the Clown” ! Since then she has been clowning for many, many parties and special events in Santa Barbara and Goleta.

Some of her appearances include: The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara, Girls Inc., Healthy start, Santa Barbara Zoo, Direct Relief International, The Family Service Agency, Make-A-Wish-Foundation, and many private parties around town!
